This beautiful oak is an outstanding tree with tremendous wildlife and ornamental value. Many species of animals including deer, squirrel, and turkey all utilize these oak acorns as a food source. Usually the Scarlet Red Oak can be found near the top of a well drained ridge.

The Scarlet Red Oak often adopts a unique form, giving it its own personality of sorts. Combine this distinctive shape characteristic with the tree’s stunning scarlet red fall color, and you have an all around great tree for all of your nature loving needs.
